Dear Aspen,
I have so little to tell you. Honestly. Because, in a sense, you’re already doing everything right.
Of course, you’re messing up all the time; right now you’re quieter, a know-it-all, and going through an intense beanie phase that won’t end till sophomore year. You don’t know what you want to do or who you really are, and you think you’re an awesome singer (you aren’t.) And that’s fine. Because you’ll change, you’ll evolve, not because some letter from the future tells you to do so, but because that’s how life works.
You’ll move on from choir and find your true voice in The Nexus. You’ll learn to write, listen, edit, compromise, and lead. You’ll do other things as well: join Ambassadors, quit soccer, find a career path.
But I don’t need to tell you about all that, because you’ll find out for yourself.
You’ll get there eventually kid,
Aspen
